Lausanne, Switzerland, October 20, 2021 – Picterra, the Swiss-based geospatial intelligence platform, today announced that Cyient has chosen Picterra to accelerate its development of geospatial computer vision AI. Picterra’s technology simplifies the process of training AI models for spotting trends, finding objects, and monitoring changes found in satellite and aerial images. Cyient, which specializes in engineering, manufacturing, and digital technology solutions globally, can leverage the platform to provide clients with business-critical geospatial insights and analytics.
Cyient’s first Picterra-enabled project will support the consulting firm Environmental Intelligence (EI) to deliver insights to the energy sector. Applying Picterra’s machine learning models to satellite and aerial images will help inform environmental compliance and vegetation management strategies.
